All the right ingredients
Two summers ago while on a whirlwind trip across Canada my two year old ravenously stole mussels off his grandmother's dinner plate. Pop, pop, pop – one after another he devoured the saltwater mollusks like saltwater taffy. As a food-obsessed mom I was thrilled. Our family was going to raise an adventurous, well-rounded, healthy eater. Hurray! My bubble quickly burst only 24 hours later when he refused them the next night and ate...only...bread...for dinner. Ugh. Really? What happened?
